The 2019 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE is a really interesting motorcycle because, underneath its classic styling, it's much more serious than it looks. When it was launched, Triumph positioned the XE as the more extreme of the two Scrambler 1200s, with genuine off-road hardware rather than merely an adventure-bike appearance. Contemporary testing found it surprisingly capable off-road while remaining refined on tarmac.
